Vieta DJ is this year's official sponsor of Sónar, the world's leading festival of electronic music, innovation and creativity, which will hold its 33rd edition on 18, 19 and 20 June in Barcelona. This year is especially significant for us, as it marks our debut as festival sponsors, a milestone we are immensely proud of.
More Sónar than ever
Last Tuesday, our marketing team had the privilege of attending the official press conference, held at the Antiga Fàbrica d’Estrella Damm in Barcelona, where the organisers presented the new features and full programme for this edition. After the presentation and a round of questions from the media, we got a first-hand look at the festival's ambitious plans for 2026. We would like to thank the Sónar organisers for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of this event from the very start.
Sónar 2026 arrives with a thorough overhaul that stays true to its essence, and it does so with the most ambitious edition in its history. From 18 to 20 June, Fira Gran Via becomes the world epicentre of electronic music, with more than 100 performances, up to six simultaneous stages and days featuring up to fourteen hours of non-stop music. Never before has the festival offered so much uninterrupted programming.

A line-up that speaks for itself
The Prodigy finally make their Sónar debut, joined by a line-up that blends legends, current leading names and emerging acts: Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Kelis, Cabaret Voltaire, Dom Dolla, Nia Archives, Modeselektor and WhoMadeWho, among many others. More than a hundred carefully selected acts for an edition that promises to be historic.

This year the organisers have paid special attention to the attendee experience. Among the most notable new features: re-entry to the venue, the removal of the cashless system, a shuttle bus service, drinking water fountains and the option to bring your own food. All of this comes with renovated rest areas and a general improvement of the spaces. Details that make all the difference when you spend hours enjoying the music.

The festival's creativity and technology congress moves to a new venue at La Llotja de Mar, a historic building in the centre of Barcelona. It will host talks, workshops, interactive installations and more than 95 activities on 18 and 19 June.
Sónar Week: all of Barcelona comes alive with sound
The programme spreads across the whole city during Sónar Week. OFFSónar returns to the Poble Espanyol, the new Sónar District sets up in the Parc del Fòrum — where Sónar Kids, the festival's family programme, also returns — and there is a special collaboration with the legendary Moog club to mark its 30th anniversary. From one end to the other, Barcelona becomes the capital of electronic music.
